 Our
Toddler Program focuses on developing warm relationships with
both playmates and caregivers and thus fosters a sense of
security and self-confidence. Your child can trust that every
teacher will lovingly care for all his or her needs. Fun and
challenging activities emerge out of the interests of the
children.
Every morning your
toddler is invited to take part in a creative art activity
or sensory experience. Some activities involve one on one
interaction while others enhance group relationships. We provide
a balance of activities, all developmentally appropriate.
At small group time, we divide into smaller groups to sing
songs, read stories or interact with puppets. We also work
on basic learning concepts, eg. colours, shapes, animals,
etc. We also have snack in small groups just before we go
for outdoor freeplay in our yard. Lunch is from 11:00 to 12:00
followed by a welcomed nap. The afternoons are full of more
parallel play, music and activities. We also play outdoor
again.
